Adrian slid from inside the healers den, releasing an exhausted yawn and stretching when his body was graced by the warm sunlight. He had spent far too much time away from the territory, and ate just enough to be alive. It was good to be back inside the pack and able to rely on others - a funny thing for him, that was so used to live alone and had such a hard time socializing. Some had eyed him with suspicion, but others were far too concerned with Raphael or busy to even complain that he was missing.
He looked for a rock or fallen tree trunk he could perch himself in, always preferring not to be on the ground. Luckily for him, there was a flat rock he could splay himself atop of it right next to the den's entrance, allowing him to stay close enough if Gabitrix needed help, but get some fresh air at the same time. Crossing his paws near his chest, the dark Vicar frowned. He had seen no sign of any of his nephews ever since he arrived. Maybe as soon he was able he should look for them. A soft smile crept to his lips - it was also a funny thing how attached of the pups of Aryn he got, but he couldn't deny how much he adored all of Alexandro's little spawns.
Kane
Kane trotted through the main den site, looking around and spotting all the familiar faces in Aryn. Part of him was concerned though, there was one face that he wanted to see badly. It was his Uncle Adrian, and he had not seen him in a while. He loved his uncle, just like everyone else in his family, but he never got a chance to spend time with him. He walked over to the healers den, hoping that Adrian would be there. He then saw a sight that he hoped for. He saw his uncle, laying down, and Kane's smile grew very evident."Uncle Adrian!" He then ran as fast as he could to his uncle, and as soon as he reached him, he embraced his uncle in a hug, and showered his uncle with nuzzles and kisses."I'm so glad to see you! I've missed you!" He continued to kiss and nuzzle his uncle, wanting to enjoy some time with him.
Adrian
It was almost if the pup had read his mind - the sudden pale tiny form of Kane invaded the den's entrance from the nearby bushes, trotting at his direction with starts on his eyes.
"Well hello there buddie!" The dark Vicar quickly adjusted himself to embrace his nephew better, a warm chuckle coming off him as the pup greeted him with infinite licks and nuzzles, almost giving Adrian no space to reply or even talk whatsoever. He gently pulled the pup down with his large muzzle onto his protective paws, in a way Kane was placed with his belly right up. He shoved his soft but cold nose into his belly, tickling him as he replied. "I missed you too, but I need to breath," He started with a short laugh.
"By the One you are growing up so fast! Just look at you, almost a young little man!"
Kane
Kane was laughing with glee while he was with his uncle. He nose on his belly was ticklish as can be for Kane, and he laughed and giggled as his uncle tickled him. His tail wagged profusely as he had fun with him, and he loved every moment. He then stood up, and listened as his uncle told him that he was getting bigger."I'm going to be big Uncle Adrian, just like you!" He then put his body under Adrian's chin, and nuzzling the soft fur of his uncle."I love you Uncle Adrian." His uncle was so big, and Kane looked up to him, just as he did his father, and his Uncle Alcatraz. His whole family was something to strive to reach, and soon, he would be just like them.
Adrian
Adrian watched as his nephew stood proudly, telling him that he'd get bigger. "Well, that's most likely. Just try not to eat as much your uncle does or you might start getting big to the sides too." He joked, but actually felt a hint of pain for reminding himself he was going out of shape. He was usually very narcissistic, and it was a bit humiliating that the pack life was making him... well, fat.
His smile widened when Kane quickly tucked himself under his chin, and the boy's next phrase took him off guard, almost making his smile fade. It had been quite a long time nobody ever claimed something like that to him - the last one who did that with the true meaning was his mother. A gentler smile took place on Adrian's lips, and even though the words rolled awkwardly off his tongue, he replied softly to his nephew. "I love you too little buddy."
Kane
Kane's heart felt like it had skipped a beat, hearing his uncle tell him that he loved him as well. As far as Kane knew, it was the first time that he had heard his uncle say those words. He has never had much time with his uncle, but he cherished every moment that he had, and with him gone for a while, it made Kane want to be with him more. Kane thought of an idea, and he knew that his uncle couldn't say no."Do you want to do something together Uncle Adrian?" His face as bright as the sun, and his tail making a breeze with how fast it was wagging.
Adrian
A soft wave of guilt crossed through Adrian's face as Kane inquired him to do something together. He'd love to, but... His eyes wandered towards the healer's den, where Gabitrix lay. As much she was healing fairly well, he was still wary to leave the she-wolf unguarded. If she required aid and Adrian was not there to hear it...
But it was not unnatural for Adrian to quickly come with something to dodge the issue, and he was then again staring at his nephew with a wide smile, before replying with a gentle tone. "I can't leave here yet, because Gabitrix is very ill and I need to stay nearby. But I may have the perfect idea to fix this problem. What do you think of playing a game?" the Vicar prompted with a smirk.
Kane
At first Kane wasn't really disappointed with what his uncle Adrian said, especially when he looked into the Vicar's den, seeing the white she-wolf in the den sleeping. He nodded his head in response, knowing that his uncle was doing his duty. A smile grew on his face when he was told that they could still play a game. Kane started to jump around with joy, and going into a play bow."What kind of game is it Uncle Adrian?!" His tail wagging fast again, anxiously waiting for the response."Please tell me!"
Adrian
Adrian's features remained bright as the pup clearly approved the idea, and he freed Kane as the boy started to jump around in pure joy, his tail wagging so violently it almost shook his entire body. "It's a learning game!" The vicar announced, stretching his legs in a quick motion before adjusting himself better atop of the rock. "I'm going to describe something, without saying the name. It can be a bug, herbs or even a wolf. If you find what I described and bring it back, you win a point, and then I'll tell you a bit of what I know about it." Adrian narrowed his eyes, still keeping his smirk, and then added with a clear playful challenge. "Do you think you can do it buddy?"
Kane
Kane stood there as his uncle told him about the rules of the game, and it seemed easy enough. Kane's mother and father had told him all about the things in the land of Aryn, so this would be a test to see if he could remember them."Bring it on Uncle Adrian!" Kane's eyes were filed with determination, and was ready for anything his uncle would throw at him.
